Born Alecia Moore in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Pink emerged as a spirited whirlwind on the music scene in the late '90s. After several stints in unsuccessful R&B groups, she established herself as a solo artist with debut album Can't Take Me Home in 2000. Earning a loyal fan base with powerhouse singles 'There You Go' and 'You Make Me Sick', she eventually went double platinum with her rock-oriented sophomore album M!ssundaztood, spawning smash single 'Get The Party Started' in 2001. Solidifying her reputation as a masterful songwriter, her fifth album, 2008's Funhouse, surpassed expectations and crowned her one of the best pop artists of the decade.
