Journey Biography - Never Stop Believin'

Formed by the former members of Santana and psyche-rockers Frumious Bandersnatch in 1973, this San Francisco band has now sold over 80 million albums since their formation. Surviving a series of changes to their line up, they enjoyed a decade of huge success in the late '70s and early '80s. In this time the group put out their most iconic and celebrated album Esacpe, which would come to define their storied career.

Disbanded in 1987, the outfit reunited in 1995 and went on to release Trial by Fire, reaching the Top 20 on the Billboard charts. But it took until 2009 for the band to once more attain the stardom of their glory days. Selling more than five million digital units, the band's hit single 'Don't Stop Believin'' from 1981 became one of the best selling tracks in the history of iTunes. Reaching a whole new audience through popular teen-series Glee, the success song was followed up by Departure opening track 'Any Way You Want It' and the group went on a world-spanning tour.
