The band's magnetic chemistry is likely down to the fact that they've known each other since they were seven. Growing up in Scotland, frontman Simon Neil and twin brothers Ben and James Johnston have now been writing music together for over 20 years, playing their first gig at the age of 15. After school, the trio moved to Glasgow and soon earned themselves a spot on the unsigned stage at T in the Park. Needless to say, their standout performance ensured they didn't remain unsigned for long.
15 years and seven albums later, this chart-topping band is still one of the hottest things in music. But where many may fall into the trap of churning out soulless festival favourites, the Scottish trio always stay true to their original sound, influenced by music "that came from the bottom of people's hearts." They took 2015 off to regroup, and have come back stronger than ever.
