Alan Parsons Biography - 20 Years On Stage, Still On Top

In the 1960s this London-born maverick began working in at Abbey Road recording studios in London, getting is first credit on The Beatles' album that was named after the studio. He went on to work with the likes of The Hollies and Pink Floyd, then in the mid-1970s started a band, The Alan Parsons Project, along with songwriter Eric Woolfson. They had a constantly evolving and revolving line-up and never performed live but released ten spectacular albums until splitting up in 1990. Three years later Parsons made the leap to performing live, gearing up his new live project yet again with a revolving line-up. He's gained a reputation as a spectacular showman, showcasing his unique blend of prog rock.
