Yes Biography - Progressive Rock Pioneers Will Perform Fragile and Drama in their Entirety
This one-of-a-kind London based band formed in 1968 when bassist Chris Square and singer Jon Anderson discovered their shared passion for progressive rock music. The two founders are still in the line-up decades later and lead the band in a revival tour in 2016, having releasing their most recent new album only two years ago.
The prog pioneers released a catalogue of award-winning masterpieces including The Yes Album (1971) and Tales from the Topographic Ocean (1973). Hits including 'Roundabout' and 'Wonderous Stories' launched them as British rock giants, but the group reached their creative peak in the '80s upon the release of their calling card track 'Owner of a Lonely Heart', which promptly launched their career across the globe.
For their 2016 tour, the group have elected to resurrect Fragile and Drama, records from two prolific eras. They said, "Drama is a great album, and we decided it's long past due to bring its life and energy back to the forefront.
