Trivium - Metal Torchbearers Announce UK and European Tour for 2017
One of the biggest metal acts in the world have just announced a mammoth UK and European tour for 2017. Critically acclaimed American metal veterans Trivium venture to Britain early in the year to perform their outstanding back catalogue for fans, bringing us their impassioned fusion of metalcore, thrash and progressive metal.

Trivium - Tour Coincides with Ember to Inferno Re-Release
First appearing on the metal scene in the early noughties, Trivium were credited as reinventing metalcore for a new generation. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, the group were inspired by extreme metal from the 1980s, which took the toughest elements of Motörhead and Black Sabbath and bolted on harsh vocals, Satanic themes and punk rock aggression. The band soon made a name for themselves in their hometown, soon leading to a record deal with the German label Lifeforce. Their debut album Ember to Inferno, released in 2003, earned the band minor recognition - and following this album the band switched record companies to join Biffy Clyro's US label Roadrunner Records.
In 2005 the sophomore effort Ascendancy was released to raving reviews, solidifying the group's reputation as ones to watch on the metal circuit. The album reached gold status in the UK, and the band's newfound success saw soaring demand for Trivium tickets as they staged headlining shows and supported metal giants Metallica and Korn on tour. Reaching new heights of stardom, the band's third full-length release The Crusade debuted at number 25 on the Billboard charts and was followed by a string of commercial accomplishments, making the group one of the most loved metal bands of today.
