Born in Newcastle in 1976, this would-be comic was barely aged 15 when he performed his first stand-up gig at a local pub. The memory of the audience's sea of laughter following him offstage, the young talent instantly caught the proverbial performance bug, and he hasn't looked back since. Starting out as just a guy in a suit trying to impersonate Jack Dee, the up-and-comer soon realised he had to create his own brand of banter in order to make a mark in the comedy world.
