Marilyn Manson: the Born Villain...and loving it
Releasing his first album on Trent Reznor's Nothing Records, the Marilyn Manson discography includes singles such as "The Beautiful People" from hit album Antichrist Superstar (it went on to sell over seven million copies worldwide) along with notable covers of the Pet Shop Boys' "Personal Jesus" and Eurythmics single "Sweet Dreams".
A skilled lyricist, Manson's own works often contain vivid imagery and stinging commentaries on the hollowness of society and celebrity. This diverse medley of musical offerings – coupled with Manson's proud support for marginalised groups – has earned the band six platinum and gold selling albums.
