A tale of good against evil told in dance

Lord of the Dance was itself followed by another Michael Flatley production, the hyper frenetic Feet of Flames, which was more a celebration of dance in and of itself, showcasing the dozens of genres in his personal repertoire and that of the supporting dance company. While nowhere near a successful as its illustrious predecessor, it nonetheless earned plenty of fans. He followed this up with his final production, Celtic Tiger, which was unfortunately to be his last, as Flatley was forced into retirement through persistent injuries brought on by the many years of punishing stage performances, not to mention the rehearsal time. His main dance partner in Lord of the Dance, Jean Butler, has continued her own well-respected career.
