Great bands form at parties

The group formed in Edinburgh when Colin Newton (drums), Roddy Woomble (vocals) and Rod Jones (guitar) met at a party. The trio quickly struck up a close bond and in no time were hanging out and playing music together. They recruited a bass player by the name of Phil Scanlon and performed shows throughout Scotland, developing a popularity within the underground indie rock scene.
