Aladdin The Musical is another one of the more popular children’s theatre shows. It is based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated feature film of the same name from 1992. It follows the familiar tale of a poor young man who is granted three wishes by a genie in a lamp, which he uses to woo a princess and to thwart the sultan's evil Grand Vizier. It is the 11th highest-grossing production on Broadway of all time.
