Anna Ternheim’s debut album, Somebody Outside, was released back in 2004. She immediately burst onto the music scene in Sweden with its release. She won a P3 Gold award for Best Newcomer, as well as winning the Best Newcomer of the Year award at the Swedish Grammy Awards. Since then, she has gone to win many more awards and release a whole host of albums.

Her debut US album was released in 2008, called Halfway to Fivepoints. A lot of her songs have become anthems for her fans. This includes her Broder Daniel cover Shoreline, as well as Today is A Good Day, Girl Laying Down, My Secret and To Be Gone. Her songs have also featured on a number of different TV shows. In 2008, she released her fourth album, called Leaving on a Mayday. The album saw her win the Album of the Year Award, as well as the Best Female Artist award, at the Swedish Grammy Awards in 2009.
