Since forming in 1985, the supergroup has released 7 studio albums and sold over 10-million records worldwide, proving that they're much more than a small side project for Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford. Initially formed in 1985 with former Ace and Squeeze member Paul Carrack, Sad-Caf� vocalist Paul Young, Adrian Lee on the keyboard and Peter Van Hooke on drums, the band's debut self-titled album boasted two Top Ten singles (the aforementioned 'Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)' and 'All Need Is A Miracle'. Three years later the band came back with Living Years, their second full length featuring the US chart topping single 'The Living Years', a powerful song that certainly managed to strike a chord with listening audiences.

After the untimely death of Young in 2000, the band would eventually come back together in 2004 to record Rewired, their sixth studio album this time featuring Carrack on lead vocals. Its success however was far surpassed in 2011 by The Road, an album showcasing the group's brand new lineup consisting of Andrew Roachford and Tim Howard, both of whom seamlessly slotted in and as a result helped the band record arguably their finest album since Living Years.
