Frontman Dan Reynolds formed Imagine Dragons in 2009, and the line-up fans recognise today consists of Wayne Sermon on guitar, Ben McKee on bass and Daniel Platzman on drums. Relentless touring around crumbling casinos in their native Las Vegas helped them gain a strong American fan base, before their debut record Night Visions demonstrated the full commercial power of the group. Shifting seven million copies and soaring to number two in the Billboard 200 list, the album spawned memorable singles including "It's Time", "Hear Me", "Demons" and "On Top of the World".
Inspired by the band members' concern over nuclear war, their 2012 track "Radioactive" hit number one across the globe, breaking the record for the most weeks spend on the Billboard Hot 100. Appealing to both hard rock lovers and pop fans, the track helped the group garner a colossal global fan base and earned them a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in 2014. While still touring, the band continued to write new music, culminating in the release of sophomore effort Smoke + Mirrors in 2014. Raw and emotionally charged, the album features big singles "Shots" and "I Bet My Life" and contains all of the energy of their debut.
Following the release of singles "Beliver" and "Thunder", Imagine Dragons released their third album Evolve in June 2017. A huge world tour will follow, for which you can buy tickets at StubHub.
