Born James Anthony Patrick Carr, the comic studied at Cambridge University and worked as a marketing executive at Shell before starting his career in comedy in the late '90s. After working with his father on JC Productions, he soon released a mockumentary called The Colour of Funny, which also starred Craig Charles. The witty show gained him recognition among the comedy crowd and soon saw him head up quiz shows Distraction and Your Face Or Mine.
