This event was originally held in Mataro, east of Barcelona, back in 2008. After snowballing in popularity though, it was moved to its current site in 2011 and has been wowing locals and visitors ever since. The 2011 debut at its new home saw a glittering line-up including surfer rock king Jack Johnson, British ska outfit Madness and dub-reggae Kiwi legends Fat Freddy's Drop.

In 2015, the festival made an even greater leap forward, with Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar headlining alongside Icelandic group Of Monsters and Men.
