Culture Club biography
Comprising iconic singer Boy George, bassist Mikey Craig, guitarist and keyboard player Roy Har and drummer Jon Moss, these new romantic British legends formed in London in 1981. Choosing their name because of the diversity of their members, their debut album Kissing to be Clever was a hit, but it was their second album, 1983's Colour By Numbers that made them superstars. It featured their biggest hit, the seminal 'Karma Chameleon', which was a Number One smash in the UK. The album sold more than ten million copies and in 1984 they won the BRIT Award for being Best British Group as well as bagging Grammy gongs in the US. Their initial phase was short-lived, though, with troubles such as George suffering drug addiction. They split in 1986. Since then they reunited, from 1998-2002, taking yet another break, and returned once more in 2011 for a short stint, and again in 2014. Embarking on a mini tour back in 2015, the band are back for a tour that'll see them playing in venues across the globe!
With the band back on track and new material in the pipeline, an exciting new era is opening up for them. Five into it with them - get Culture Club tickets on StubHub, the world's largest ticketing marketplace.
