A rising star
Alba Farelo was born in 1997 as the eldest of five children in the beautiful coastal town of Vilassar de Mar in Catalonia, Spain. The daughter of a voice actor, as a youngster she enjoyed singing and translating songs written in the English language into her native Catalan and traditional Spanish. Whilst working part-time at a call centre to help fund her university place, Alba put together a cover track that combined all of the three languages, using the song "Work" by Rihanna as her base.
