A story that stands the test of time
Margo Channing, originally played by Bette Davis in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's 1950 film, is a Broadway icon. Queen of the spotlight. Star of the stage. Although, time does not stand still, and she's not getting any younger. Her advancing age is a cause for concern, especially in this business. After a performance of Margo's latest play, she is introduced to Eve, an infatuated fan and recent widow. Eve is young, beautiful and charming and soon slots herself into Margo's fabulous life when hired as her assistant. Yet Eve has other, more ambitious intentions as Margo soon realizes for herself when the spotlight begins to shift. In this innovative adaptation by the experimental Belgian director, the gorgeous Gillian Anderson (star of the long-running TV series 'The X-Files' and movies such as 'How to Lose Friends & Alienate People' and 'Jonny English: Reborn') takes on the role of Margo. Rising star Lily James ('Baby Driver', 'Mama Mia! Here We Go Again', 'Downton Abbey') plays the engrossing character of Eve. What better way to set the stage for this astonishing production! Such a huge cast means All About Eve tickets will go fast, so if you want to catch it, buy or sell yours through StubHub!
