The Civic is conveniently located in downtown San Jose. There are several public transportation options, all of which will let you off at the Convention Center stop. The VTA Light Rail 901 train will get you there quickly. By bus, you can reach the theater on the VTA red bus routes 23 and 168. If you are already downtown, the Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) goes right by.

City National Civic seating depends on the show. The theater has a seating capacity of 2850. For most shows, there are three seating levels: main floor, dress circle and balcony.
