Yung Lean Biography - Swedish Rapper Returns to the UK

The Stockholm-born Hastad grew up with a love of hip hop, soon finding that his eventual co-producers Yung Gud and Yung Sherman shared a similar taste in music. Hoping to emulate artists like Future and Lofty, the group began creating tracks as Hasch Boys, and single 'Kyoto' achieved their first viral attention in 2013. The homemade videos, atmospheric beats, experimental style and low-fi sound resonated with teenagers worldwide, before 'Ginseng Strip 2002' proved their next big success. Hastad's debut album Unknown Memory followed in 2014 with an American and European tour, and 2016 LP Warlord looks set to bring even bigger things.
