Inspired by Whitesnake and Bon Jovi

Inspired by the likes of Whitesnake and regular touring buddies Bon Jovi, the original Tyketto line-up of lead vocalist Danny Vaughn, lead guitarist Brooke St. James, bassist Jimi Kennedy and drummer Michael Clayton first came together in 1987. Three years later, the group signed a deal with Geffen Records and in 1991 released their first studio effort, "Don't Come Easy". Following 1994 sophomore "Strength in Numbers", former Tall Stories frontman Steve Augeri replaced Vaughn for 1995's "Shine", a record that proved to be their original swansong when the band broke up shortly after. Several members later joined Vaughn's eponymous outfit before the original Tyketto line-up reformed for a reunion tour in 2004. The group went on to play various festivals, including Brazil's Hard in Rio 2 and the UK's Download, before releasing their first new LP in 17 years, "Dig in Deep". After undergoing various line-up changes, the band released their first DVD, "Documentally Yours", and dropped their fifth LP, "Reach", in 2016. You can both buy and sell Tyketto tickets on StubHub.

Relive the days of hair metal

Tyketto have not stopped touring since reforming for good in the late '00s. But alongside their more conventional headline shows and festival slots, the rock outfit have also treated their loyal fans to various live performances with a twist. In 2018, they put on an "An Evening With" tour, in which they took over a venue for an entire weekend to perform brand new arrangements of their classic hits, assisted by the likes of a brass section, string ensemble and female vocal trio. Four years previously, the group joined the likes of Great White, Firehouse and Tesla on the Monsters of Rock Cruise, an event that they subsequently became a regular part of. But it's on the regular touring circuit where Tyketto spend most of their time, performing classic hits such as "Forever Young", "Standing Alone", "Burning Down Inside" and "Wings" to sell-out crowds always ready to salute good old-fashioned rock and roll.
