The "Rood-Witten" were crowned Eredivisie champions in 2017/18 after a fantastic season. With the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid potentially on their way to the Phillips Stadion for Champions League games in the near future, fans have flocked to StubHub to buy and sell PSV Eindhoven tickets.
Eredivisie season creates additional challenge
With a number of stars from the 2018 World Cup on the squad, the club has every chance of putting Dutch football back on the map after the glorious 1970s. Even PSV Eindhoven tickets for the Eredivisie Dutch League are flying from the virtual marketplace. Amongst those that proved vital in winning the 2017/18 title was Mexico star Hirving Lozano, who terrorised Germany in his nation's 2-0 win over the then-world champions. PSV spent the summer of 2018 fending off bids from other clubs for Lozano's signature, but there are others on the squad that can tantalise just as much. Colombian star Santiago Arias has gone, but the arrival of his replacement (Denzel Dumfries) has been well-received, with the Dutch-Aruban defender arriving for 5.5 million euros. On the opposite defensive flank, Angeliño arrived for the same amount from Manchester City's youth academy, and he brings his own brand of Latin flair to the Dutch champions. Such pace and trickery will be of utmost importance in every Eredivisie season, with fellow Dutch giants like Ajax and Feyenoord no doubt hurting from missing out on the 2017/18 title.
PSV Eindhoven and an eternal legacy
Any champion of any league across the world tends to become a bigger target than ever, but there is everything to suggest that PSV can battle valiantly on two fronts! Winning the title on twenty-four occasions throughout history, PSV Eindhoven has been one of the heavyweight clubs in Dutch football for as long as anyone can remember. Though the club was founded in 1913, it was not until 1974 that it would gain its feared status, beginning an audacious run of success with triumph in the KNVB Cup that year. There then followed a run of three titles in four years (between 1975 and 1978), culminating in the club winning the secondary European club competition in 1978. This helped establish Dutch football (since canonised as "total football") as the bar towards which all teams aspired. In a perfect emulation of the 1970s, PSV's title win of 2018 was the club's third in four years. With some excellent transfer business always being done at the club, there is no better time to buy PSV Eindhoven tickets on StubHub!
