NF tour venues
Michigan native NF is behind sensational hit singles like "Warm Up," "Intro 2" and "Real." He was also featured on the tobyMac single "Till the Day I Die" and the Futuristic track "Epiphany." Known for his powerful performances, NF has gained a cult following and is widely regarded as one of the best Christian hip-hop artists of his generation. In addition to showcasing his signature sound on sold-out headline tours, NF has performed at music festivals across the U.S., including Life is Beautiful Festival, Bunbury Music Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival and Voodoo Music and Arts Experience.
Born Nathan Feuerstein, NF started recording rap songs on a karaoke machine in the back of his parents' van as an escape from the stress of his dysfunctional family life. With the encouragement of his church, he entered into the rap competition of the 2008 National Fine Arts Festival and the 2009 District Fine Arts Festival in Michigan, where he placed second and first, respectively.
In 2010, NF independently released his debut album, Moments. The record attracted the attention of Xist Music and NF eventually signed with them in 2012. He then started work on a six-song EP, but later left the label without releasing any material. He returned to Xist shortly after to make a song for their compilation album, Xist Music Presents: MOVE Vol. 1, released in 2012.
NF released his first single, "Beautiful Addiction," in 2013. He then signed to Capitol Christian Music Group in 2014 and debuted his long-awaited self-titled EP at a launch party attended by Da' T.R.U.T.H. and Flame later that year. The EP peaked at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Gospel Albums chart, No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard Christian Albums chart and No. 15 on the U.S. Billboard Rap Albums chart.
Driven by the success of his EP, NF released his major label debut, Mansion, in 2015. The album peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Christian Albums chart and garnered widespread critical acclaim, with many likening his style to that of rappers such as Eminem, Machine Gun Kelly and Logic. After charting several tracks from the album, NF released his next studio effort, Therapy Session, in 2016 and embarked on an extensive North American trek, entitled 2017 Therapy Session Tour. The response to the NF tour was overwhelming, with many dates selling out shortly after release.
NF's noteworthy awards
In 2016, NF won the Best Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards for Therapy Session. He was also nominated for Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for "I Just Wanna Know."
