Paramore Biography - Huge Festival Favourites

The seeds of the band were sown when singer Williams moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 2002 at the age of 12 meeting the Farro brothers Josh and Zac. Two years later the trio added bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Jason Bynum to complete the lineup. A year previously, Williams had been signed to Atlantic Records as a solo artist with the intention of turning her into the next pop starlet. However, the feisty vocalist resisted, demanding an alternative direction, with a full band behind her. Cutting their teeth on the road in the Southeast US, the group eventually put out their debut album All We Know Is Falling back in 2005, which proved an instant chart success on both sides of the Atlantic. Follow-up Riot! built on the buzz, spawning hit singles "Misery Business" and "That's What You Get".

In the half decade since, the group's line-up may have shifted, but their position right at the top of the rock tree has been more than cemented with hit singles, huge collaborations and memorable festival sets. Having frequently rocked the crowds at Download and Reading and Leeds - along with smashing their own headline arena tours - they're now huge live favourites in the UK.
