Born in Austin, Texas in 1974 and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, urban entrepreneur Nelly started his career in the rap crew St. Lunatics. He couldn't be constrained to a group though, so signed to the Universal record label in 1999 and released his worldwide smash album Country Grammar the following year. The album has sold nearly ten million copies in the US alone, but follow-up Nellyville proved to be just as hit-packed. He went on to release a series of critically-acclaimed albums as well as his super-smash duet with Kelly Rowland, "Dilemma".
