Jacksonville Jaguars Playoff Tickets
While the drive to get an NFL team in Jacksonville began in 1989, it was not until 1993 that the Jaguars got the approval to join the ranks of the NFL. Still, they needed a stadium. It took two years to renovate the famous Gator Bowl to NFL standards, and the Jaguars have been off and running ever since. They drafted their first player, Tony Boselli, in 1995 and had their first win in October of that year playing against the Houston Oilers. The Jaguars record in their inaugural season was 4-12. In 2017, Doug Marrone, the previous head coach for the Buffalo Bills, took over the head coaching position for the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the Jaguars are still a fairly young NFL team, they have left their mark, making it to various playoffs throughout the years and even making it to three AFC championship games. Keenan McCardell was a powerhouse wide receiver, and when he paired up with Jimmy Smith, they were called "Thunder and Lightning" for their amazing abilities. Together, the two combined for over 2,000 receiving yards every single year they played together. In McCardell’s first season with the Jaguars, he had an impressive three touchdowns and 85 receptions for 1,129 yards. He has the second-best wide receiver stats in the Jaguars' history, totaling 499 receptions, 6,393 yards and 30 touchdowns. Smith is the best receiver in the Jaguars' history, totaling 862 receptions for 12,287 yards and 67 touchdowns.
