Born Isabella Sophie Tweddle in 1999 before adopting a stage name after her music career begun, this young star had musical aspirations at an early age, writing songs from just nine. At 12, she had garnered a following of over 100,000 through her YouTube channel, and went on to surpass expectations even further by releasing her first EP, Ribbon at 15. Drawing comparisons with fellow folk artist Laura Marling, the following year she released second EP As Long As and won a fan in Ed Sheeran for her achingly soulful track 'Bird'. A North Yorkshire native, the songstress hails from Ripon, but has been touring across the UK with fellow folk singer Lucy Rose, stopping to play Reading festival on the BBC Introducing Stage. Based on the strength of a successful debut at such a young age, the singer earnt a nomination for the prestigious BBC Sound of 2016, along with Dua Lipa and eventual winner Jack Garratt.
