Tacoma Defiance TicketsThe Tacoma Defiance — formerly known as the Seattle Sounders FC 2 —is a reserve team for its parent organization, the Seattle Sounders of the MLS. Players on the roster, many of whom just graduated from the academy level, can gain valuable experience and development as they strive to make an MLS club. In the American soccer hierarchy, USL Championship ranks second overall behind the MLS. The Sounders front office announced its intention to create a reserve club in 2014. In a rare move, the Sounders Community Trust, a fan-owned non-profit organization, was awarded 20% interest in the club. The Seattle Sounders FC 2 began playing the 2015 season. The club qualified for the USL postseason in its inaugural year with a 13-12-3 record, but it lost to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in the first round 2-0. In 2019, the club officially changed its name to the Defiance. Fans can purchase Tacoma Defiance tickets at StubHub, a leading source for live events.
