A nation of two golden periods

The Swedish national men's handball side has enjoyed two golden periods during its rich century-spanning history. The first came in the post-war era when legendary manager Curt Wadmark led the country to two IHF Men's Handball World Championship titles and a gold medal at the 1948 World Cup Field. A largely German-based squad
