The traditional home of the Italian Superbike race
Superbike Imola is one of the most anticipated races on the Superbike event calendar each year – when it’s part of the circuit, that is. This hasn't always been the case – as much as this track holds a unique and very special place in motorsport and Superbike history, the demands of modern TV audiences and the many vested national interests in the sport have at times led to the venue being dropped from the calendar for a year or two. But the track is so well loved by fans and riders alike that it always finds a way back. It has been the scene of many a furious duel in the Superbike category over the years and its fast, sweeping parabolic corners require a tricky balance from the riders as they seek to keep their speed up for extended runs while fighting against constantly building centrifugal force. Thus despite its relative lack of chicanes (there are only two bus-stop chicanes on a nearly 5-mile long track), which makes it somewhat different in the motorsport world, it is nevertheless a very physically and mentally demanding track on which to race. You can catch the Superbike action whenever it comes around – we'll have Superbike Imola tickets whenever they’re available.
A special place to watch Superbikes
The Superbike Imola race is usually the 12th on the racing calendar if it’s the host venue of the Italian race in that year. It's known as the home of Italian racing, perhaps even more so than Monza, and being dedicated to the Ferrari family has only added to its legend and mystique. It traditionally comes just after the Superbike Netherlands and is followed by one of the biggest events on the entire calendar, Superbike Spain, held in a country that is world-renowned for its passion for motorbike racing and which has produced far more than its fair share of world champions over the years. But it's Italy that still has a special place in fans' hearts. You can join them with Superbike Imola tickets – get them on StubHub now.
