How big is the Las Vegas Motor Speedway?Completed in 1996, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 1.5 mile asphalt track. It is configured in a tri-oval shape, with 20 degree banked corners. The frontstretch and backstretch are banked progressively from nine degrees at the bottom to 12 degrees at the top. Cars can reach 200 mph top speeds on the straightaways.
