Saul Hudson was born and raised for the early part of his life in England before moving with his family to Los Angeles, where he'd adopt the iconic nickname attributed to him based on how he always seemed in a rush. Giving up a promising career in BMX biking to focus on his passion for the guitar, his band Guns n' Roses would go on to become one of the biggest bands in the world, with 1987 debut album Appetite For Destruction selling over 28-million records and being rightly regarded as one of the best rock albums of all time. He would leave the band officially in 1996, but would stay busy musically with projects including Slash's Snakepit, collaborations with Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz, and super-group Velvet Revolver.
