Rachel Keen, AKA Raye, is an English singer and songwriter from London. She known for being short-listed (and finishing third) for the BBC Music Sound of...award in 2017 and for featuring on the 2016 singles "By Your Side" (Jonas Blue) and "You Don't Know Me" (Jax Jones), which peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. She also featured alongside Starrah on the track "Dreamer" from Charli XCX's Number 1 Angel mixtape, and was part of Artists for Grenfell as they released number one single "Bridge over Troubled Water" to raise money for the families of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

Raye: R&B star is one to watch in the future
Born in Tooting, London, to a Ghanaian-Swiss mother and an English father, Raye moved to Croydon in her youth, where she studied at Woodcote High School before being accepted to attend the BRIT School for two years. She released her debut EP Welcome to the Winter in 2014 and debut singles "Flowers" and "Alien" a year later. In 2016, Raye released her second EP, aptly titled Second, with "I, U, Us" (co-written with Charli XCX) being released as the lead single.
Stormy appeared on subsequent single "Ambition" as Raye's star began to rise, and she performed her first headline gig at Shoreditch's XOYO club. Writing credits for tracks by artists such as Little Mix ("If I Get My Way"), John Legend ("A Good Night"), Dev ("Come At Me") and collaborations with the likes of Pete Tong and Rudimental have appeared since then, while Raye has also supported superstars Years & Years, Jess Glynne and Rita Ora on their UK tours.
