Pocono 400 Tickets
Since 1982, Pocono Raceway has hosted two race weekends each summer, one in June and one in July or August. The June race, the Pocono 400, has been a 160-lap, 400-mile race. It has been run in three stages. Stages 1 and 2 have been 50 laps each. Stage 3 runs 60 laps and completes the race. This year for the first time, NASCAR and Pocono Raceway have combined the two events into a single weekend of racing. Two Cup Series races will highlight a five-race weekend. The first Cup Series race will be known as the Kids Free 325. Jeff Gordon leads all past winners with four Pocono 400 wins. Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. have won this race twice. Kurt Busch set the track qualifying record in 2016 with a lap of 181.726 mph. Jeff Gordon turned in the fastest race for the Pocono 400 in 2011 when he averaged 145.384 mph for the day. The Pocono doubleheader race weekend is a historic event no NASCAR fan will want to miss.
