After touring with the likes of Lady Antebellum and appearing in the fifth season of the singing competition Nashville Star, this singer-songwriter became a star in her own right after being signed by Mercury Records. Fast recognised as a rising country musician, her debut album Same Trailer Different Park produced hits like 'Follow Your Arrow', named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 greatest country songs of all time. Kacey Musgraves - Biography

Born in Texas, the singer started writing at a young age, learning the guitar aged 12 and finally breaking into the country music industry at 18. After being discovered by independent record label Triple Pop, the musician recorded two songs, before joining Lady Antebellum on their Own the Night tour in 2012. Her official debut single 'Merry Go 'Round' followed with Mercury Records which was to be included on debut album Same Trailer Different Park. 2012 also saw the songwriter co-write 'Undermine' with Trent Dabbs, to be featured in popular US TV show Nashville.

At the 56th Annual Grammy Awards she received four nominations, winning both Best Country Song for 'Merry Go 'Round' and Best Country Album for Same Trailer Different Park. The album was subsequently certified golf in August 2014, having sold over half a million copies. Most recently, after returning to the studio, the inimitable vocalist came back with her second album, Pageant Material, released in June to great critical acclaim.
