‘Mother May I Sleep with Danger' was the smash hit off her ‘Influence' EP, a collection of 5 songs that really exemplifies the amazing talent of Joy Crookes. ‘Bad Feeling' is another brilliant track and ‘Power' is an exceptionally well-crafted anthem for female empowerment that features some truly fabulous lyrics, none better than: "You're a man on a mission, but you seem to forget, you came here through a woman, show some f*&%king respect."
