John Mayer Biography
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1977, this singer-songwriter attended Boston's Berklee College of Music before finding fame. He first started building up a fanbase following a move to Atlanta, with his debut album Room for Squares announcing a rare talent that was consolidated on 2003's Heavier Things, showcasing a strong acoustic-rock sound. That album proved to be his breakthrough, bagging him a Grammy Award and going multi-platinum. He subsequently honed his sound into a more blues-based zone, collaborating with the likes of BB King and Eric Clapton before moving into the new millennium with 2012's Born and Raised and 2013's Paradise Valley. Having been on hiatus for a number of years, along with performing with his band Dead & Company, the reaction to his latest album, The Search For Everything, has been heavily awaited since his announcement back in 2015.
