Heaven - always an impressive line-up

This classic London nightclub, situated under the arches in Charing Cross, plays host to some of the biggest names, nights and events there is on the nightlife and entertainment calendar! Putting the fun back into clubbing and events

This vast nightclub arose from the ashes during the late 1970s, at a moment when clubbing in the city as we know today did not exist. Taking over the site of a former roller disco called Global Village, the club, headed up by Jeremy Norman - who was also responsible for the Embassy Club - opened its doors for the first time in December 1979 and quickly established itself as a tour du force on the gay clubbing scene as well as a venue for musicians, DJs and bands to flex their muscles and perform in a unique setting. The venue has a capacity of 1,000 people for live music and, coupled with its atmospheric basement space and an incredible sound and lighting system, has made it one of London's premier live music venues.
