The home of Manchester City Football Club, this stadium is the third largest in the Premier League with a capacity of over 55,000. Built initially to host the 2002 Manchester Games, the site has seen various major events grace its ground in the past few years, including European Cup finals, boxing world title fights and numerous concerts for some of the world's biggest artists. Soon it will host international rugby matches, whilst also continuing to be one of the key venues for the new football season.
