The Edmonton Oilers are a professional ice hockey team from Alberta, Canada, currently playing in the Pacific Division of the NHL's Western Conference. Each season culminates in the Stanley Cup playoffs during the postseason. This season, the Edmonton Oilers will be led by their captain, Conner McDavid, for their bid toward the playoffs. McDavid competed in his first full season with the Oilers in 2016-17 and finished the year with 30 goals and 70 assists. This led to him winning the Hart Trophy as the NHL's MVP and the Ted Lindsay Award for Most Outstanding Player. That year, he helped the Oilers qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since 2006. In the 2017-18 season, McDavid improved his stats in 82 games and, once again, won the Ted Lindsay Award. Watch the Edmonton Oilers' new momentum live this season.
