The Coca Cola 250 is a NASCAR XFINITY Series race held each summer. It has been run since 2002 over the July 4th Independence Day weekend. This year, it is scheduled to move to August 28. The race is 250 miles, consisting of 100 laps and is run in three stages. Stages 1 and 2 are 30 laps each. Stage 3 is 40 laps and finishes the race. Joe Nemechek won the first running of 250 in 2002, taking Pontiac's only victory in this race. Since then, many of NASCAR's brightest stars have visited Victory Circle following the Coca Cola 250. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. leads all drivers with three wins of the 250 race. Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Martin Truex, Jr. and Clint Bowyer are among others who have won this race.
