Previous BST artists, including 2017 lineup
With shows taking place over the span of two weekends, there's more than enough artists and bands to cover whatever your music tastes entail. Last year Phil Collins and Blondie brought in the first BST show on the last Friday of June. The following day saw Green Day headlining the Saturday slot, giving the festival a tinge of rock to the proceedings, with special guests coming in the forms of Rancid, Gogol Bordello, The Hives, The Stranglers and many others. On Sunday, British Summer Time brought out more big guns, with performances from Tove Lo, Martin Garrix, Anne Marie and of course, the sensational Justin Bieber. All that in the first weekend!
The next weekend kicked off on the following Thursday with Kings of Leon and the Pixies, while Saturday saw indie rock performances from The Killers, Elbow and Tears for Fears. Finally, on Sunday, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks and indie-folk rockers The Lumineers all graced the stage.
British Summer Time venue
London's Hyde Park is the biggest park in London and one of its Royal Parks originally owned by the monarchy of the UK for their recreation. It has been one of the world's most sought after festival locations for live music, as it has played host to a number of history-making performances, such as The Rolling Stones' legendary 1969 gig or the unforgettable Queen concert in 1976.
Established in 2013, BST has become one of the festival highlights of the summer and has quickly garnered a sterling reputation among music lovers. The concerts will be held for several days and each day will end with the headline act for that day on the Royal Oak Stage, which was specially built for BST and has a screen that measures 900sq metres. With capacity for 65,000 fans, festivalgoers will find plenty of space to sit down, relax and enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere. Buy BST tickets from StubHub today and be part of the action.
