BBC Proms 2017 Schedule

Running all the way from July to September, this year's BBC Proms is looking to feature some of the most talented musicians and composers the world over. Proms history

Concert impresario Robert Newman first brought the series to the public in 1895 at Queen's Hall in Langham Place. Alongside Sir Henry Wood, Newman continued to build the Queen's Hall Orchestra and a repertoire that would be a longstanding tradition. The event has since become famous for introducing music lovers to both established classics and newly commissioned pieces - the very best of British musical culture.
