Sounds Good Feels Good, the second album from the 5SOS boys, was released in October 2015, with a UK tour following in April 2016. The LP is packed with pop royalty thanks to songwriting assistance from members of The Monsters and the Strangerz, Good Charlotte and Duran Duran, and features some huge tracks. Lead single 'She's Kinda Hot' was a big hit in the UK, US and their home country of Australia, and follow-up songs 'Hey Everybody' also proved immensely popular with the group's rapidly growing fan base. 5 Seconds of Summer Biography - Australian Teenagers Enjoy Internet Breakthrough

Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin met at school in Sydney, Australia and began posting covers of popular songs online in 2011, and soon some of their videos had received over half a million views apiece. That quickly caught the attention of major music labels and by 2012 they had been signed by Sony ATV. With only the aid of Facebook and Twitter, their first EP Unplugged went straight to the top of the iTunes charts in Australia. After members of One Direction got behind the band, tweeting to promote later singles 'Gotta Get Out' and 'Out of My Limit', international recognition soon followed too.

With UK artists from McFly to the Kaiser Chiefs helping 5SOS develop their early sound, it was announced that the group would support One Direction on their Take Me Home tour, taking them across the world with all dates selling out within minutes. This prompted Capitol Records to sign them to a deal, and they released their first major label debut 'She Looks So Perfect' in March 2014, becoming the first Australian band to have a number one in the UK in 14 years. The group's first album followed in June of the same year, winning a Kerrang! Award and peaking at number one in 13 countries. After two sensational records, the 5SOS boys are proving to be an unstoppable pop force.
