BB&T Field Tickets
Opened in 1968, Groves Stadium hosts the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, allowing the team to showcase their talent for up to 31,500 people. Decades of constant use and capacity crowds led Wake Forest college to partner with BB&T in 2007, announcing a 10-year deal to fully remodel and rename the stadium to BB&T Field. As a result of these extensive renovations, the original tiny press box was replaced by the massive, seven-story McCreary Tower. The Tower seating contains luxury accommodations, compartments for the University president and visiting athletic directors as well as the new suites for representatives of the media. Experience the beautiful renovations yourself and never miss any NCAA football action by booking your BB&T Field tickets at StubHub!What concessions does BB&T Field offer?
The stadium itself offers what you might expect of a notable sports venue, namely hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, pretzels and burgers. There are also many food trucks and restaurant concessions available, including Chick-fil-A and Papa Johns. Finally, you can expect to quench your thirst on Pepsi products, Gatorade or find something a bit different in the wide selection of craft beers sold in the venue itself. Is there lodging located near the venue?
Due to the area the Field is located in being largely industrial, there are few offerings for quality hotels within walking distance of the venue. When you plan an outing to a BB&T Field event, it's advisable to stay just outside of Winston-Salem and catch a cab or Uber to the stadium itself. There are plenty of quality lodging options just off the interstate, including the Best Western Planes Mall hotel, which offers a fantastic value. For a ritzier experience, the Kipton Cardinal hotel is a short 2.2 miles from the Field. How is parking at BB&T Field?
When BB&T Field was remodeled in 2007, special attention was paid to the flow of car and pedestrian traffic and it shows. There is ample paid parking ($10) nearby with a pedestrian tunnel that leads straight to the venue. What about nearby entertainment options?
Unfortunately, due to the location of BB&T Field, there are few options directly adjacent to the venue itself. It is only a few miles from downtown Winston-Salem, which has a bustling nightlife, including brewery tours of Foothills Brewery, or a winery tour in Yadkin Valley. Triad Eco Adventures offers Segway tours of the city where you can experience the Southwest Museum of Contemporary Art or the Old Salem Museums and Gardens. Is the stadium accessible for those with disabilities?
Due to the capacity crowds that BB&T Field events draw, special care was taken to ensure everyone can enjoy the events there. Accessibility accommodations include access ramps, elevators located in each wing of the stadium, accessible listening devices and lower counters at concession stands. Patrons can call their ADA helpline to get assistance with ensuring their tickets are in accessible locations.Back to TopEpic events and incredible deals straight to your inbox.
