The Rocket Summer Tickets
Based in Texas, The Rocket Summer is the stage name of the multi-instrumentalist, Bryce Avery. A singer, record producer and songwriter, The Rocket Summer is best known for his indie rock music, but the performer crosses over into power pop and alternative rock styles from time to time. One of his albums received the prestigious Top Album spot on iTunes soon after its release in 2010.
Learning how to play the guitar from the age of 12, Avery soon progressed to self-learning on the piano and the drums. During high school, the young performer joined an indie-punk outfit and never looked back, having dedicated himself to a career as a professional musician ever since. The artist has gone on record as saying that early influences on his style included Weezer, Pavement and Archers of Loaf, the North Caroline noise rock band. Vocally, some critics have compared his singing ability to the likes of Justin Timberlake and even Michael Jackson.
