The Hotelier - US Emo Rockers Announce 2016 Tour
With their third album Goodness out in May, these Massachusetts rockers make their way to the UK to play a full 2016 tour. After previous record Home, Like NoPlace There Is saw the high school friends take a darker musical turn, they have ridden the wave of an emo revival. Frontman Christian Holden has called their latest release a 'love record', prompting fans to wonder if a change in style is on its way, but the band have continued to grow musically since their 2009 formation. Tracks such as 'Two Deliverances', 'Settle the Scar', 'Soft Animal and 'Sun' are simply the latest evolution. Be the first to hear the new material live at one of their tour dates in May - get The Hotelier tickets on StubHub UK.
The Hotelier Biography - Third Album Goodness Out in May
After coming together in high school, friends Christian Holden, Chris Hoffman, Ben Gauthier and Sam Frederick gigged extensively in their hometown of Dudley, Massachusetts, garnering attention for their first EP release We Are All Alone. Despite their first official album It Never Goes Out proving popular in local circles, it wouldn't be until 2014 and sophomore effort Home, Like NoPlace Is There that they would receive widespread critical acclaim. The record's emotive punk rock sound was praised for an unrelenting intensity and gut-wrenching exploration of heartbreak, disappointment and broken promises.
2016 sees the group return with their third album, Goodness, and a slightly different take on their classic emo sound. As a more established act, they can afford to be a little more experimental with their work. See these leaders in the emo revival perform live when you get The Hotelier tickets on StubHub UK.
