Where are the best seats at Mississippi Coliseum?Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson seating varies with each event. While it can seat about 6,500 for sports events with a traditional arena arrangement, it can be expanded to 10,000 seats for concerts and other performances. For sports and wrestling matches, sections A1-19 and B1-19 are the box seats and risers that are closest to the action. For musical performances, the temporary seating in the floor sections will give you the best view of the stage.

It runs from 5:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. on weekdays and 6:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Saturdays. Patrons will want to take the Route 4 bus from Downtown Jackson and get off at any of the Greymont Street stops.

Events held during the Mississippi State Fair will give you access to many vendors at the fairgrounds where you can get everything from basic hot food to alligator on a stick.
