Mike Love Tickets
Mike Love - Beach Boys icon
Best known for being the only ever-present member of the legendary Beach Boys, Mike Love has also released several albums as a solo artist. Take a look at the various Mike Love tickets currently available on StubHub.
The ever-present surf-pop pioneer
Born in Los Angeles in 1941, Mike Love first found fame when he joined his cousins Carl, Dennis, and Brian Wilson in surf pop outfit Beach Boys in the early 1960s. Love co-penned several of their biggest hits, including ‘California Girls', ‘Good Vibrations', and ‘Fun, Fun, Fun', while his rich baritone became the focal point of their live performances. Love remained the sole ever-present member of the band as they continued to record and tour over the next half-century, but he also pursued various other projects during this period. In 1971, he became a Transcendental Meditation teacher and a decade later he released his first solo LP, ‘Looking Back with Love'. He also joined several members of King Harvest to form short-lived rock outfit Celebration, recorded several LPs with fellow Beach Boy Brian Johnston, and published his autobiography. Featuring guest performances from John Stamos and Dave Koz, long-awaited sophomore, ‘Unleash the Love', arrived in 2017 and was quickly followed up a year later with the festive-themed ‘Reason for the Season'. Expect good vibrations and fun, fun, fun
Having consistently toured as the Beach Boys frontman for six decades, Mike Love is unarguably one of the most experienced pop performers still working the live circuit today. And remarkably, his signature baritone remains just as impressive as it was back in his 1960s heyday. As well as appearing alongside his iconic group, Love has also headlined numerous shows as an artist in his own right since returning to the solo fold in the late 2010s. And accompanied by a tight-knit backing band, the veteran typically covers both of these aspects during his career-spanning sets. Fans should therefore look forward to hearing several of the Beach Boys classics he not only provided the vocals for but also co-wrote with Brian Wilson, including ‘Getcha Back', ‘I Get Around', and ‘Kiss Me, Baby'. Contemporary solo tracks such as ‘All the Love in Paris', ‘Unleash the Love', and ‘10,000 Years Ago' all prove that he still has what it takes to pen an incredibly infectious tune.
